Sanskrit words could embellish these Tantric essays with a Hindu or Buddhistic flavor, make it more exotic and academically interesting. I’d have to memorize those words and write them from rote, words that few people understand or even relate to, a language that needs to be translated into ordinary people talk that affects day-to-day living and speaks to basic levels of life as well as esoteric and mystical forces on a transcendental plane.

Chakras are not limited to members of an exclusive club. They exist in every human being and the language of Tantra when spoken in street-talk as well as the language of academia can be understood by religious, and non-religious people everywhere on earth. There’s not a soul alive disconnected from spirit. Most people are unconscious of the fact that their souls come to the earth to learn to transform suffering into joy and love, an alchemical process that clarifies itself when people tap energy in the unconscious. Training is necessary to develop an inner life that transcends the ordinary. Mastery of mind and breath are necessary, an open heart is necessary, a need to have a spiritual life must supersede all needs of a material nature.

Training is necessary to develop an inner life that transcends the ordinary, where mastery of mind and breath are necessary, an open heart is necessary, and a need to have a spiritual life must supersede all needs of a material nature.

Tantric seeds are buried beneath tension in the sexual chakra, and they blossom when a meditation practitioner’s inner life transcends the anxiety-filled world people inhabit if their hearts and minds are closed. In the sexual chakra, the human level, with all its tension and foibles, is transformed into a divine energy that activates kundalini. The union of male female in the sexual chakra gives birth to an energy force strong enough to transform internal chaos and confusion into a spiritual life.

Each chakra plays a role in the process of transformation. Without strong rootedness developed in the hara, Tantra is nothing more than an esoteric word with no practical application. One’s muddled interior keeps him or her from being focused. Consumed by a tense mind and emotions that create depression and anxiety, the term ‘inner peace’ becomes meaningless in the minds of unhappy people. The heart must be open. There must be real gratitude for internal chaos to clear up and the throat chakra must open so that one can communicate with others. As one’s humanity develops, the spirit (or shakti) moves through the chakra system and into the sexual area, where the union of male and female takes place. This a major step in the completion of karma, enabling the soul to move on to other dimensions of consciousness. We’re born with tools to make this remarkable transformation possible. Every human being has mind, breath, will, and need, and must learn to use them consciously.

One must experience their own nothingness, the ability to live in the ‘now’ without being consumed by the tick-tock of thought or the swampland of emotion. Energy flows through the entire chakra system and a sacred male/female marriage takes place in the sexual area. Tantric experience integrates itself into one’s consciousness as a living force that transforms a person’s life on earth. It brings the soul closer to a state of enlightenment…
